Dues are collected towards the end of the calendar year. Every year members will receive a statement in the mail explaining any dues owed, and highlighting chapter activities throughout the year.
Requirements placed on us by California Society and SAR National mean we must collect dues by November 15th. Any members not renewed by then will be dropped. If you have been dropped, you may apply for a reinstatement by paying your outstanding dues, but please understand there is more paperwork involved when doing it this way.
Life Members will have no dues owed depending on the specific Life Member program they purchased. There are both state and national programs. The California Society Life Member program covers Chapter Dues as well.
Even if you have no dues owed, you will still receive a letter and statement confirming your status.
For more information on applying for Life Membership programs, the forms are available on the California SAR website.
