National Poster Contest Chairman Dave Gilliard and California Society State President Ron Barker presented the student winner for the 2016 Americanism Poster Contest with her medal. She also received cash prizes for her winning poster entry. The student comes from St. Rose school in Roseville, CA and entered through the Gold Country Chapter SAR, taking first place at the chapter, state and national levels. Congratulations!

The poster contest team is already wrapping up presentations to fifth grade classrooms across Placer County for the 2017 contest. Chapter judging will be in March.
